Kurt Dimer announces debut album and starts … publishes new single “Big Toe”.

The aspiring rock musician, actor, songwriter and film producer Kurt Dimer has officially announced his debut album, and so it begins …, will be released on May 9 and published his new single “Big Toe”, the latest offer from the double collection in full length, which will soon be available via Man Records.

The new, atmospheric epic, written together with Ben Trexel, is a song of hope that contains the impressive guitar solos by Phil X (Bon Jovi), which is raised by the drama of Dimers Husky and uniquely deep register. The official music video for “Big Toe” directed by Paul Boyd (neon trees, Dave Stewart, Shania Twain) can be seen below. The expansive and cinematic rock spectacle begins … was produced by Chris Lord-Alge (Green Day, Breaking Benjamin Breaking Benjamin) and wrote with Phil X.

“'Big Toe' was one of the first songs I have ever written,” says Dimer. “It was probably in 2019, I was sitting in New Jersey and working outside on a terrace, drank a beer, and I could see the lights of New York City in the distance. There was a colorful, silver view of the sky, so that the “Silbermond and Ghieinliche Heaven” line came. While I continued to write, the song turned. With this feeling of gray and darkness and the chance that light was there when it happened through the gray, silver sky, I thought about how many people in life have almost dead experiences. They almost die, but they don't. And there is a second chance to change your whole life in order to be a better person and not be as selfish and full of yourself or in common towards others. It became a song of hope and if you get this second chance, use it because you can change. It is never too late to change to become a better person. “

“It is never too late” may only be Kurt Dimer's life mantra. Everyone has dreams, but not many are brave enough to really follow them. But dimer followed his instincts and now he publishes at an age when most people think about slowing down, his debut in full length. The 17-track, diverse collection is based on a wealth of life experiences from the native of Cincinnati, which in Ohio, which started his first rock band at the age of 20, but finally moved a conventional way as a young man.

And this is how it starts … includes dimens recent single “Live or the” as well as the previously published singles “Dance”, “Hero” and “Fight”. It jumps from the thundering hard rock riffs from “Naiv” to the Acerbian radio metal from “Back of the School” to the symphonic size on his cover of the Pink Floyd Classic “Have a Cigar”, which masterfully fades into his setting of the doors. Elsewhere, a stunning guest place from Queensr is on the trail of “Burn Together” and the expressive guitar work by Phil X can be heard everywhere, which gives the diverse material side a further layer of sophistication and so it begins.
