Recently there has been a lot about the fashion trend of the “Farshi Shalwar” lately on social media. However, the fashion designer Maria B. has clarified in a new video that can pull out this style and which should avoid it.

While the Farshi Shalwar has become a trend and even part of the meme culture, many have now endeavored to wear it for Eid al-Fitr. However, Maria B. pointed out that this trend may not be suitable for women of all body types.

In her video message, Maria B. shared her thoughts about which women can take this trend. She explained that fashion is more suitable for large, slim and younger women.

She mentioned that she could see her daughter who was wearing Shalwar regularly, but at the age of 43 she would not adopt this style herself.

Maria also emphasized that this fashion for women of a more mature age or those with shorter stature and abundance may not be flattering. Instead, big and slim young girls look rather stylish.

Since Maria B. has a fuller figure herself, she has presented four different outfits in her video – two with the Farshi Shalwar and two with cigarette pants. It was obvious that Maria looked more elegant in the cigarette hose ensemble.
