Woods '20 manager Tulane on Florida Atlantic 83-76 in the American Athletic Conference Tournament

Fort Worth, Texas – Asher Woods had 20 points on Friday in the quarter-finals of the American Athletic Conference tournament with the 83-76 victory of Tulane against Florida Atlantic.

Woods shot 6 for 10 (2 for 3 from the 3-point area) and 6 of 8 from the free sausage line for the green wave (19-13). Kaleb Banks added 17 points when he shot 7 for 11 (3 for 4 from a 3-point range) and 0 out of 3 from the free-out line, while he also had five rebounds. Gregg Glenn III shot 4 of 11 from the field and 9 for 10 from the line to end with 17 points.

MATAS Vokietaitis ended with 21 points and 12 rebounds for the OWLs (18-15). Florida Atlantic also got 12 points from Devin Vanterpool.

A 12: 0 run to close the first half, Tulane brought a lead of five points. Banks led his team with 14 points. Glenn scored 15 points in the second half.
