Prediction: This will be Nvidia's next big step (and it will begin on March 18)

Nvidia (NVDA 5.27%))) has inspired investors with many of his steps in recent years Dow Jones Industrial Average (^Dji 1.65%))).

The company has increased its specialty of the design of graphics processing units (GPUS) to an almost art form. These chips mainly started in the video game industry, but today with the most advanced AI systems. In fact, Nvidia's chips are the best, and that's why the tech giants of the world – are from Amazon To Microsoft – flock to the company to get its latest publications.

All of this has led to a double and three-digit sales growth in recent years, and in the past five years the share has increased fourfold. In the past few weeks, this high -flying stock has declined together with the rest of the market. Investors fear that President Trump's trade war could affect the economy and the company results with large US trade partners.

However, it is important to remember that his long-term prospects and general AI growth history remain intact, even if Nvidia faces the headwind. And Nvidia is not yet finished when it comes to making impressive movements. In fact, my prediction is a special thing that Nvidia's net Big Move will be – and it will begin on March 18.

From video games to AI boom

First let's take a quick look at the path of Nvidia. As already mentioned, Nvidia's GPUs initially concentrated on the video game market, but when it became clear that its ability to do several tasks at the same time was able to serve many other areas, growth began. The AI boom became an important catalyst and helped NVIDIA's annual turnover from US $ 26 billion in the 2025 financial year in 2025 to $ 130 billion.

NVIDIA not only recorded at GPUs and instead creates an entire platform of AI products and services, from company software to network tools and much more. This tech giant has the portfolio, which has to help both commercial customers and governments on every step of your AI path.

As already mentioned, technology companies that incorporate billions of dollars into their AI programs annually -are important Nvidia customers. This is positive because these players are obliged to their AI strategies and have financial resources to carry out their plans.

Now let's keep up with my prediction. NVIDIA will hold its annual GTC AI conference next week, and CEO Jensen Huang will enter the event on March 18. While Huang talks about significant events at Nvidia, he will probably give us some evidence of the future. And I assume that Nvidia's next important step is to concentrate more than ever on innovations-a make-it-or break-IT element for AI chip designers.

Notes on the innovation strengths of Nvidia

Nvidia has already given us indications of its strengths in terms of innovation: it launched its latest Blackwell architecture in its fastest production ramp. And the company achieved sales of 11 billion US dollars in Blackwell turnover -in the first quarter of commercialization -and at the same time held the gross margin over 70%. This shows Nvidia's ability to quickly publish a complex product without major disorders and to ensure a high profitability of sales. The fact that the demand has exceeded the supply is another good sign that customers strive to reach Nvidia products.

Why do I think Nvidia is now making innovation a notch? In the past, Nvidia spoke annually about the update of GPUs. After this enormous Blackwell start, which has been taking place in the past few months, the company is already aiming to publish Blackwell Ultra in the second half of this year. So it is possible that this new update will even come a little before Blackwell's one -year anniversary.

According to Nvidia, Vera Rubin architecture will be on the market next. Rubin's development is before the schedule, so that it can be published this year or early next year.

In view of the recent emphasis on NVIDIA, I would expect to be particularly strong in this area that Blackwell Ultra is particularly strong – and that could recharge this solid sales growth of Nvidia. This potential speed in innovation and a focus on an important growth area is of crucial importance for Nvidia, since this is the only thing that could reserve the rival and lead to high growth over time.

So my prediction is that Nvidia is the next big step to innovation. The next chip updates may be even earlier than expected and are very adapted to the next AI growth area. And that could be fantastic news for Nvidia shareholders.
