When does March Madness begin? NCAA tournament plan, data, venues

The NCAA tournament 2025 will take over the sports world, with the March Madness of College basketball only a few days away.

The tournament brackets for men and women will be announced on Sunday at the selection on Sunday, with two 68-team fields being created. There is nothing better than March Madness, because potentially seasonal games get up day after day. Cinderella teams will appear, potential dynasties will suddenly come to a standstill, and drama is guaranteed.

When is the selection on Sunday? March Madness Bracket Announcements

The brackets for the men's and women's tournaments will be announced on Sunday, March 16, on selection shows.

The men's 68-team field is unveiled on CBS, with the cover for 6 p.m. ET. The women's selection show will appear shortly afterwards, with ESPN broadcast the bracket show at 8 p.m. Both selections can also be streamed on Fubo, which offers new subscribers a free test version.

When does 2025 NCAA tournament begin?

Both the NCAA basketball tournaments of the men and the NCAA basketball tournaments start on Sunday shortly after the selection.

On the men's team, “First Four” plies are played from March 18 to 19 in the Ud Arena of the Udton of the University of Dayton. The women's tournament begins with “First Four” competitions on March 19 to 20, with teams being organized with a higher seed.
