Ohio State Football projected deep card in 2025 on the offensive before the jump

It has been less than two months since the state of Ohio took the first 12-team college football playoff with four victories in a row over ten top teams, of which the last thing is against emergency lady in the CFP championship game. But … whether you believe it or not, the spring ball is right around the corner and will start on Monday. It will run until Saturday, April 17th, in some form of a spring show case that is not called spring game. So we will see what it is about.

Nevertheless, this means that the building blocks of this year's team will take shape next week, and there are many holes to fill from a team that had a lot of experienced talent that is now known in a little -known league known as the – NFL.

We often like to project what the deep card will be for the buckeyes when we go through the low season. Shortly before spring begins, feels

Sometimes these exercises are simple (um, last year), and sometimes it is like putting together a puzzle that lacks several border pieces. With all the change in which new trainers are present and several players fight for starting places, this is certainly the latter.

But hey, we are paid to sort this type of thing, so we start with the offensive side of the ball. The defensive team and special teams will follow depth for the 2025 season after our projected two-deep offensive deep card in Ohio State Football.

Quarterback

starter | Julian SayinBackup | Lincoln Kienholz

Head coach Ryan Day said that the quarterback fight is an open competition, but it would be a slight shock if Sayin does not take the truck and runs with it. He is the former 5-star quarters in the 2024 class and has drawn enthusiastic reviews of players in the program. Kienholz has several years of experience in the system and will probably have a leg in the 5-star St. Clair for the time being.

Run back

starter | CJ DonaldsonBackup | James Peoples

People felt like the next man who was waiting for the program, but then the coaching team went out and received West Virginia Transfer, CJ Donaldson. Ryan Day loves what he saw last year of a fairly equal approach of two backs, and that is probably the plan here. With the permanent experience of Donaldson, the pudding gives a little more evidence, so we give it the 1A award for the time being.

Wide receiver (x)

starter | Jeremiah SmithBackup | Quincy Porter

Smith will be the best broad recipient in college football and probably the best player in the game. You can put him down as a starter here in permanent ink. Behind him is a little more unknown than we saw in recent years, but where there is a lack of experience, there is no talent. Porter is a highly respected view that can still fill out significant skills if necessary to throw itself against opposing defense.

Wide receiver (z)

starter | Carnell TateBackup | Mylan Graham

Like Smith, Tate seems to set this point as a proven goods and recurring starters. Graham may be a Breakout candidate and could also see a lot of time anywhere in the reception corps, but his skills seem to make sense right behind the act, but do not count him from supporting Smith on outside place no. 1.

Wide receiver (slot)

starter | Brandon InnissBackup | Bryson Rodgers

Here, too, it seems on the surface that No. 1 starters should be pretty locked up at every point, and this is also the case with Innis. This is most likely to be another route, with Graham and possibly rodgers pushing over time. All three backups could mix somewhere else, so we will see how things take place in spring and what the coaches think early.

Closest ending

starter | Max ClareBackup | Will Kacmarek

It certainly looks like the two best security measures in the state of Ohio are former transfer. Kacmarek would probably have set the starting place, and he will still have a lot of time as a great blocking, close end, but it was clear in the portal. It is a difference maker and Nightmare Matchup in the passing game, which could give the OSU crime an additional dimension. Bennett Christian will also have some time, but at that time he feels like a distant third.

Left -wing

starter | Ethan OnianwaBackup | Deontae Armstrong

The state of Ohio went from the transfer portal from Rice from the transfer portal for one reason. His experience is counted in order to be classified as a starter to protect the blind side of the quarterback. Behind him, the strongly advertised Carter Lowe will take a look at it, but the call is that Deontae Armstrong gets the early nod in the program due to his time.

Right tackle

starter | Phillip DanielsBackup | Ian Moore

It will be a close competition between the experiences of Minnesota Transfer Phillip Daniels and Ian Moore, but the coaching team would not be immersed in the portal to take Daniels if he didn't think he had a very good chance to stop a starting place. However, Moore is pushed forward and has shown that lightning is the answer at the right Tackle point. Don't be surprised when you see that this is one of the hardest competitions in spring.

Left -wing guard

starter | Luke MontgomeryBackup | Devontae Armstrong

Montgomery came into the spotlight last season and impressed with the magical run. This means that he keeps the experience and trust of the trainers from performing when the light lights have been shot. Exciting you to win the starter with the backup spot here and a bit unknown. The other Armstrong Twin will probably compete with Gabe Vansickle to be the next man. There could also be a little shuffle because it can almost always make the best possible two deep profits.

Right guard

starter | Tegra TshabolaBackup | Austin Siredeveld

This feels like a weak member of the offensive line. Tshabola has the most experience and will probably get the first gap here, but he sometimes fought last season. Siepeveld was also inconsistent, but was able to develop in a competition and push for the season. To get the top five out there, don't be surprised if another interior offensive Lineman finds his way at this point.

center

starter | Carson HinzmanBackup | Joshua Padilla

Hinzman was the starter here before Alabama Transfer Seth McLaughlin showed up and took over the place to start the last season. Karma was kind to Hinzman after being in the dog house when McLaughlin was lost for the year because of an injury. He stepped back and was an anchor in a line that got better and better. There is little doubt that he will be the man in the middle again in 2025. Padilla is a talent that is on its turn, and it will be ready to make relief if necessary. It gets pretty and beyond without mixing the deck.
