The legendary rock band Journey had to end its concert in Houston on Friday evening when an “electrical incident” broke out into the gig in less than an hour.

The rockers have just started to play their hit “Don't Stop Believin '” – the fifth song on their setlist – in the Houston Livestock Show and in Rodeo in the NRG Stadium when the strength on stage was cut out on stage.

The power went to the right when singer Arnel Pineda reached the second verse of the popular song.

The singer Arnel Pineda had just reached the second verse of the hits when the sound stopped flocking through the speakers and the projector screens became dark.

“You can share the night for a smile …” Sang Pineda before the sudden interruption.

The fans continued: “It goes on and on and on” until their voices finally faded when they realized that this silence was not a planned break on the show.

According to reports, the crew members were reported on the stage and fire extinguishers held in action as stage workers.

Khou reported that the band left the stage and that the incident was caused by an “electric fire”.

The outlet adds that an announcement came to the spokesman to inform the fans that the show was canceled and everyone had to be evacuated.

According to reports, the crews stormed the stage with fire extinguishers when power went out.

There are no reports on injuries.

The Houston fire brigade reached the mail for a comment.

Rodeohouston apologized on Facebook for the unexpected end, just a handful of songs in the concert.

“Due to an unforeseen electrical incident in the stage area, we regretted the cancellation of today's travel concert,” the explanation said.

“We sincerely apologize to all fans for this disappointment. Our team is working hard to assess the situation, and we will present updates to rescheduling options and or reimbursements as soon as possible. “

Some fans made the situation light and informed that they were only grateful that there were no obvious injuries.

Others were stunned that the stadium, which has a capacity of 72,200, would have the problem.

“We stopped believing when they said it was canceled,” wrote a participant on social media.

“I drove for 5 and a half hours and, in addition to the concert tickets, paid a 2-day hotel stay,” commented another person. “Please honor the efforts of the people to continue to support the Houston Rodeo and to re -plan the show. It confuses me that this well -oiled machine would have this kind of problems. As disappointed- more like a broken heart. “
