Arrested in rape examinations in Cayuga County

The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Auburn, NY, has arrested Christopher T. Quaile, 43, from Locke, NY, due to rape to the second degree. The arrest follows a comprehensive examination of the allegations for sexual abuse, in which a young person affected at the age of 15 in his residence in Locke, NY, is less than 15 years old.

The investigation began on January 14, 2025, when Cortland County Child Protective Services (CPS) contacted the state police because of the victim. The investigators found that Quaile had been involved in criminal sexual behavior several times in July 2023.

On March 5, 2025, after the coordination with the public prosecutor's office of the Cayuga district, a command for production was received to bring Quaile from the prison of Cayuga County, where he was already custody for separate charges. He was officially charged in SP Auburn on March 10, 2025 for rape (D crime). After his arrest and processing, Quaile was brought back to Cayuga County prison to expect the indictment against capital. The public prosecutor recommended no deposit due to the previous quails convicts and the condemnation of a crime that was not related.
