Fdny chief blasts 'false rumor' that triggered the NYC probe

Michael Fields des Fdny des Fdny is examined, possibly about the meteoric rise of his wife in the office or about dealing with her latest, drunk arrest, said sources of the post.

The agents of the Ministry of State for the Ministry of State went to Brooklyn this month to the FDNY headquarters in Brooklyn and copied the data in the FDNY FDNY phones and computers from Fields, confirmed officials.

The 52 -year -old Fields, which was not in the building at the time, insisted last week that he “had no contact with someone from the Ministry of Demand”.

“I have no further comment on these false rumors that are on my reputation,” he said by e -mail.

Some sources speculated that the probe could include the promotion of his wife Nikcola Combs-Fields (51) or is related to its latest DUI arrest.

The FDNY suspended combs fields for 28 days without payment after this arrest last autumn.

The case is still pending.

An insider confirmed it by the FDNY office for investigations and attempts.

Combs-Fields was promoted to captain on January 14, 2024 from the lieutenant-a year after the then FDNY commissioner Laura Kavanagh appointed her husband to the top on January 20, 2023.

The EMS boss “is not involved in the advertising process for captain, said FDNY officers. The candidates are “set up on an advertising medium list based on interviews, education and experience”.

Three EMS officials and an employee of the Equal Employment Opportunities carry out the interviews.
