The Wildwood police arrest 5 men after unprofitable promenade attack on the police officers outside the Stone Harbor service

Wildwood, NJ (WPVI) – The Wildwood police arrested five men in connection with the alleged embarrassed attack on a police officer of the free stone harbor.

It happened around 11 p.m. on Wednesday when the victim ran on the promenade in Wildwood.

According to the indictment, the video shows five men who follow the victim on the promenade. At one point, one of the suspects who wears a black hooded sweatshirt and red shorts can report to throw an unexpected object on the free officer.

The video does not seem to grasp the attack, but the authorities say that all five men ran from the last observed place of the victim.

The alleged attacker, Isaiah Ortiz (19), is accused of beating the officer so far that he was passed out.

The victim was beaten so strongly that he suffered a concealment and facial fractures that were operated on, the investigators said. He was brought to the Cooper University Hospital in Camden, where sources say he is doing well.

The criminal complaint shows that the victim called at 11.12 p.m. 911 to report that he had fallen near the Oak Avenue and the boardwalk.

“Explained that he had lost consciousness and was not sure how he had arrived where he was,” said an official in the criminal complaint.

Officers later moved over a black Audi and watched five men inside. According to reports, the people said that they came from the promenade and referred to “fights” that appear in the city, civil servants said.

The police later went to the house of another suspect, 19-year-old Elijah Williams. The authorities said Willaims identified four of the other suspects in a formal explanation.

All suspects identified Isaiah Ortiz as the sole attacker, claims the criminal complaint.

During an explanation, the investigators said Isaiah Ortiz admitted to being the only one who had attacked the official. He was still wearing the same clothing in the surveillance video, the police said.

The motive for the attack has not yet been unveiled.

In court documents, some of the accused allegedly observed that the attack occurred but received no help while the victim was passed out.
