Major EV Company reveals a record car carrier to transport thousands of vehicles: ''[Enhanced] Company efficiency '

The electric vehicle BYD has just launched a new cargo ship with which 9,200 of the car manufacturer's electrical and hybrid vehicles can be carried for sale overseas.

The new Mega car carrier is called Shenzhen, an ode to the hometown of the Chinese car manufacturer. And it is officially the largest RO-RO or the Roll-Roll-Roll-Ship of the World Das cargo ship, which was produced to transport large quantities of environmental vehicles.

Car News China reported that the new ship is 718.5 feet long and 126.7 feet wide. The maximum speed is 18.5 knots or about 21 miles per hour.

Although the Shenzhen is the world's largest automotive carrier, BYD claims that it is also the most environmentally friendly in the world. The company does not provide any precise details about how its airline is going, but Car News China reported that “energy -saving devices to improve operational efficiency” was equipped. According to the Electrek, the ship includes battery packs and wave gas gauges to control its needs. Natural gas and traditional sea fuel per car messages are also used.

The Shenzhen is the fourth cargo ship. The first in January 2024 started the manufacturer and has already completed trips to Europe and Brazil. The three available RO-RO ships from BYD can each wear up to 7,000 vehicles per trip.

Car News China reported that BYD wants to have a total of eight airlines by early 2026 to fire its global expansion. BYD has already entered the new Energy Auto market market in 100 countries and regions around the world – and this number is expected to increase in 2025.

The car manufacturer sold a record of 4.25 million new energy vehicles last year, which has an increase in more than 40% compared to the figures of 2023 per car news. This volume includes the manufacturer's electrical and plug-in hybrid vehicles.

BYD also produced more than 1.77 million vehicles last year, with Tesla being able to exceed around 4,500 units and was able to secure its place as the world's largest new energy vehicle manufacturer. However, Tesla produced complete electric vehicles – 1.78 million vehicles compared to 1.76 million of BYD.

Byd's persistent growth – and the success of competing EV manufacturers – is good news for the planet. The transport sector is the second largest source of pollution that heats our planet behind electricity and heat. In contrast to gas -powered vehicles, EVS does not generate air pollution that is armed on planets when they are driven and do not run with dirty energy sources.

Each EV on the street lowers transport pollution, which is why the growing demand for EVS can be celebrated. The Environmental Protection Agency reports that a more comprehensive introduction of EVS would improve public health and reduce the risk of breathing appeals, diseases and cancer in connection with air pollution.

Electrek's report found that the growing presence of BYD in competing markets forced the car manufacturers to take EVS seriously. The news site reported that Nissan and Honda “put together EVS to ward off BYD's increase”.

Recently in South Korea, BYD starts to start new vehicles in Mexico, Brazil, Europe, Singapore, Thailand and additional competition regions this year.
