Marvel Rivals Season 2 publication date with further new skins and team-ups

Marvel Rivals is approaching the end of the first season, which means that we are slowly getting more information about upcoming content that could appear until the second season.

Season 1.5 is about halfway for Marvel competitors, and the players are already looking forward to the content that is associated with season 2. After the most recent patch of the game, some new details have leaked or shared in interviews with the developers, which led to speculation about what season 2 will add when publishing.

According to Lecks, Marvel Rival Season 2 will start on April 11th. This is displayed perfectly when the current Darkhold Battle Pass close its pages in season 1 and become the legacy content.

For everyone who only played in season 1 Marvel-Rivals, Netease Games runs his seasons as a two-part content cluster that run over the course of three months, with smaller updates between the individual parts.

Season 1 was a double season and added the entire Fantastic Four as playable heroes together with several cards. Season 2 will only add two new heroes, and the number of cards or other content can also vary depending on the tradition and special events.

Season 2 will start with a new Battle Pass and a topic that connects the overall story that the developers want to tell through gameplay and cosmetics.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but the current prediction is that Blade is added to Marvel Rivals as a playable hero when season 2 starts on April 11th.

Based on some taste text, which are given in various gallery cards during the first season, we will probably see season 2 at the center of the Hellfire Club. This is particularly due to the fact that Doom 2099 has a plan that includes a “gala” that he sets in motion to get more power after his former himself cheated on dracula and generated a pure blood chronovium.

If we actually want to bring in the Hellfire gala in this way, the maps and general topics in season 2 will probably involve the X-Men and Mutants. Krakoa was already leaked as a potential card in the game, which is completely useful for a hell fire season based on the “largest mutant celebration in the Marvel universe”.

If this information is used, the character of season 2.5 should first first add the game first, since the heroes freed it from Dracula in season 1.5.

Emma Frost makes the most sensible of the leaked list, since it is the figurehead of the Hellfire Club and creates Krakoas Hellfire Trading Company. She would also add another avant-garde to the squad of the game and already has some character interactions based on data found in the game.

The other options would probably be Jean Gray or Cyclops because they actively perform the X-Men operations from Krakoa. It is unlikely that we will see Jia Jing, Professor X, Colossus, Beast, Nightcrawler, Rogue, Gambit or anniversary compared to the other three options.

According to Guangyun Chen Guangyun Chen from Marvel Rivals, the team has poured many resources into the development of impending seasonal content through an interview with PCGamer, with the new publications for the second season already completed.

“The content for season 2 is ready and will go,” said Chen to PCGamer. “The designs for seasons 3 and 4 have also been completed and are currently under intensive development! Overall, everything goes smoothly. “

What is still about two heroes and new cards for Marvel-Rivals in season 2, we can expect the balance adjustments and changes in other areas of the game.

On March 14th, Netease started the first mid-season balance patch marvel rival, which heroes like Human Torch and Iron Man revised to improve the current balance for these characters in the game. Previously, the developers waited to adapt heroes until the beginning of a new season or a new part.

“Firstly, we will monitor the most important metrics for heroes in different modes. For example, in Quick Match and Competition modes we will analyze data such as profit rates, selection rates, damage, healing, damage and final blows for heroes. The modes mentioned above will be the decisive references for our general compensation.

Now the same focus is shifted by a little more team-ups, since Chen finds that the game is added to new team-up skills, while existing team-ups are still being changed as required for balance.

But all of these content come or speculated with season 2. In an immediate update, two eagerly awaited skins for Black Panther and Iron Man are added to the game.

After several leaks, Iron Man – steam power and Black Panther – are added three times cursed king to Marvel competitor on March 21. This means that the players can finally use an Iron Man costume that was available during some versions of the beta of the game and was finally introduced to the Vampiric King of Wakanda in the Lore of the first season.

According to reports, both skins will cost 1,600 units if they fall into the shop and join the youngest storm – goddess of Thunder and Loki – costumes of the presidential clothing that have just been published. Netease's strategy will also continue to publish new content for Marvel competitors every week.
