Teenager accused, victims identified in fatal shootings in East Chicago

A 16-year-old boy was charged with the fatal shootout of another teenager on Friday morning in East Chicago.

The East Chicago police said around 11:16 a.m. that the officials reacted to the 3700 block of the Dahlia Street to get a report on fired shots. Shot spotters alerted eight rounds in the area.

Officials came and began a search for evidence of evidence. Meanwhile, they found a teenager who was in 3804 Erie CT. and Commonwealth.

The victim no longer reacted and explained when they reacted for doctors. The Coroner's Office of Lake County identified the victim as a 17-year-old Justin Charleston.

On Saturday, Detectives received indictment against a 16-year-old boy of the public prosecutor of the public prosecutor of the public prosecutor of Lake County for murder after he had transformed his lawyer into detectives.

The police did not publish the name of the suspect.
