MotM survey: Slow Start sees Borussia Dortmund 2-0 against RB Leipzig loses

Borussia Dortmund can be found in the last quarter of the Bundesliga season and finds a long way from the TOP 4 and disappears around midtable, and the window of the opportunity to rescue above them quickly. BVB missed a great chance today to close the gap and lose 2-0 against RB Leipzig and in an incredibly frustrating way.

Dortmund started the game slowly and whatever Niko Kovač's plan was was clearly not. The clearest signal for BVBS problems was on the right, where Waldemar Anton seemed to be completely out of position at all times. It was also dominant in RB Leipzig's first half. Leipzig opened the score of 20 minutes in the game via Xavi Simons and will have the feeling that they can go into half at halftime at half -time. They made up for it shortly after the break when Lois Openda was not marked on a corner and put his volleye on Leipzig's lead.

It was only once when BVB was subject to 2-0 when they showed some signs of life. Dortmund looked good offensive in the last half hour of the game, but they could not put any of their countless chances away. Perhaps you might have found the network if you had played for the entire game.

Here are the nominations for BVBS husband of the game in today's 2-0 defeat against RB Leipzig.

Emre can

Can have a rough start when Openda looked like a newly born calf, forced the foul and the yellow card to end his embarrassment. But from that point on, he looked solidly how it was so often this season. I don't think he was responsible for one of the goals granted by BVB.

Maximilian Beier

There was a distance of about 10 to 15 minutes, in which Beier could have scored or scored about four goals, and although there were one or two games in which he could have done better, I thought he was really good to be in the right positions to cause chaos. He probably deserves something from the game.

Karim Adeyemi

In addition to the spectacular efforts he had, which the bar struck away from afar, I thought that Adeyemi was hardworking and deserves recognition for his efforts. He was sometimes frustrating, but when BVB was successful, he was usually not far from the campaign, and he was one of the few branches when they struggled in the first half.

Julian Rerson

Rerson is always a safe bet for a nomination if Dortmund has a bad game (or in this case a bad half who decided the game). While everything falls apart around him, he always keeps his level and his consistent energy often helps to ensure that it doesn't get worse.
