Cowboys' Micah Parsons packs Corpus Christi with Lions the football camp

Corpus Christi, Texas – The St. John Paul II High School organized more than 500 children on Saturday to meet one of her favorite players from Dallas Cowboys, LineBacker and defensive end Micah Parsons.

“I just think it is important that the children visualize that they see success and obviously see me on TV, but to interact with me, just have fun, to learn football and ask me a million questions why we are out here,” said Parsons. “I also think that is important because they can visualize. I can be here one day. One day I can have my own camp. I can return to my hometown and one day do great things.”

Parsons took photos with fans and youth campers, then he threw passes and played defense. With regard to the exercises, athletes led the routes, finely coordinated footwork and took part in dummy bores. In the Lions the Flexwork Camp, many skills were treated in the offensive and defense. St. John Paul II Junior Randy Garcia was grateful for visiting his high school.

“It's just crazy, you know that he got all the way,” said Garcia.

Camper from 6 to 16 years have registered the camp for the Lions. The legend of London Elementary Student Williams was looking forward to meeting one of his favorite NFL players.

“Because he is good in football, he has a nice arm and he runs very quickly,” said Williams. “I love playing football. I signed up for it. It was my dream.”

Parsons wants to give a different perspective by organizing these camps because he did not have these options in Pennsylvania, “said Parsons.

“For me it was never about where I was. It was about what influence I would have when I was there, and it is obviously a challenge to run the team in Tackles and not to start a game. You have to take a step forward every day. I think that is what children miss with Nile on days now is the adversity. I call myself “we the other generation” because I was not a starter and remained true. In the end I was an all-American and a first choice in the first round. “

From Saturday, March 15th, there will be a camp in Hebbronville for March 29 at 9 a.m. to have a complete list of the future Camp Dates of the Lions the future.

Each camp participant receives a camp team with Lions the limited Lions the flexwork football camp-t-shirt and, if available, takes home from event sponsors. All campers should be dressed in sporty clothing.
