Several agencies that fight against big fire in the Cherokee National Forest

Cocke County, Tenn. (Wvlt) – Several agencies in Cocke County are facing a big fire in the Cherokee National Forest.

According to the Grassy Fork volunteer fire brigade, the crews were sent to a brush fire in the area of ​​the Long Branch Road shortly after 4 a.m. on Saturday. Several fire brigades soon found the fire in the Hallen Top Road in the Cherokee National Forest.

While firefighters said that there was no active threat to the structures in the area on Saturday at 4:30 p.m., the residents of avoiding the region asked that crews who work fire to move as needed.
