Man with 27 charges after he allegedly killed pet pig in the city of Concord

Concord, NY (WKBW) – An investigation of the death of a pet pig has landed a city of the Concord man behind bars and suspended a long list of charges, including a dozen for guns.

According to the Sheriff Office of the Erie County, 50-year-old Marc Reszka called a local animal hospital on Friday evening to report that he had shot his pet pig.

The deputies were sent to this animal hospital in the Springville-Boston Road in Reszka's house, which shortly before 10 p.m. 911 called 911

When the authorities arrived in the house, a release from the sheriff's office said that they had seen several drops and blood bowls on the floor before they found the animal in a garbage bag.

The MPs also reported to find 11 weapons in “Plain View” that violated an active protection arrangement against Reszka, which forbids him to own firearms.

When the officials tried to captivate Reszka, according to the Sheriff office, he pushed off and ran towards the forest. Then he ignored several warnings that he would be tasked if he didn't stop running. A representative used his taser and prompted Reszka to fall to the ground. He was taken into custody, brought to a nearby medical center and then brought to the Erie County Holding Center.

Reszka is now exposed to the following fees:

  • 2 counts of the criminal use of a firearm of 1.grow
  • Crime possession of a weapon 1. degree
  • 11 counts of the criminal property of a weapon
  • 11 counts of criminal contempt 2. Grade
  • Consciousness resist
  • 2nd degree disability of state administration
