Athletics and field for women opens the outdoor time plan in Myrtle Beach outdoors

Myrtle Beach, SC -The Franklin & Marshall Women's athletics team started his outdoor season this weekend at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge. The diplomat competed against schools at all levels of the NCAA and got away with two top -10 performances in school history.

The diplomats achieved most of their team points in the obstacle where Katie Scott (11: 53.16) and Tara Silverman (12: 17.93) earned the respective fourth and seventh place. Scott already has the second best time in F&M history for this event and now has the 10th best time in Division III after the opening week of the season. Silverman dismantled the sixth best time in the program history and currently has the 20th best time in Division III.

Hayden Adams I had a busy first outdoor meeting, which was highlighted by deleting 2.85 meters in the pole vault in order to take seventh place on the field with the sixth best brand in school history. She was also the team's top finishers in the 100 hurdles with a time of 17.49 seconds. Amanda Imhauser was another multi-event competitor because her weekend was led in the long jump to 32nd place with a brand of 4.75 meters.

A number of diplomats performed strongly in the middle distance and distance events. Hana Hyman was the highest of these placers with a 15th place in the 3,000 meters (11: 40.59). Annalize Kauffman And Jordyn Collie LED F&M in the 5,000 meters with times of 19: 18.65 and 19: 32.81. Emily Jones was the top diplomat on the 1,500 meters (5: 14.79) while Bella Johnsons The time of 27.02 seconds in the 200 meters made it the fastest F&M Sprinter this weekend.

The outdoor athletics season will continue with the Little Three Meet this coming weekend, since the hammer throw takes place in Gettysburg on Saturday, March 22nd, before the rest of the events take place in Dickinson on Sunday, March 23.
