After his arrest on Thursday, a man from Port Orange is charged with several crimes, including sexual activities with a minor.

The criminal investigations unit of the Ormond Beach Police Department arrested Kyle Lambert (19) from Port Orange after an “extensive investigation”, the police authority said.

The police found that “the defendant had communicated with the victim via social media apps Snapchat and Tiktok and, after a press release from the police authority, had exchanged generous photos through text and facetime”. “Detective also found that the defendant personally met the victim and dealt with illegal sexual activities.”

Prison documents show that the victim was between 12 and 15 years old.

In a prepared explanation, police chief Jesse Godfrey said that “criminal acts, especially those that affect the exploitation of minors, are not tolerated. We will accumulate in accordance with the law.”

Godfrey asked the parents and legal guardians to carefully visit their children.

“Stay up to date with whom your children spend time, especially online,” he said.

Parents who believe that their child was exploited should immediately contact law enforcement.

“They could protect their vigilance and participation,” said the department.
