Vertin, SDSU men wrap a strong performance at Nic

Ocala, Fla. – Cody Vertin recorded his second eight-placed place in an individual event final when the swimming and diving team of the men of the state of South Dakota completed his season on Saturday at the National Invitational Championship.

A second from Brookings, Vertin, organized a time of 1 minute, 58.82 seconds during the last Saturday evening. He moved two places from his idea in the morning preliminaries and switched off his qualification time in full second.

Vertin also took eighth place in 400-specific Medley on Friday in Nic Meet and scored an 11th place in the 200-in competition during the competition on Thursday.

To complete the meeting, the 400 freestyle relay of the Jackrabbits Zavier wreathPresent Austin SmithPresent Denilson Cyprianos And Sam Johnson 16th place out of 24 teams with a time of 2: 59.79.

Smith and Cyprianos narrowly missed qualifying for the final during the Prelims on Saturday morning. Smith was the first alternative in the 200-butterfly after releasing the 21st times 1: 49.99, while Cyprianos became second after the 22nd place in 1: 48.26 in the 200-back back.
