Warrior's superstar Stephen Curry meets the 86-year-old Superfan-Mae Kitty in Brooklyn Nets game after the viral video

It all started with a Tikkok. When Maddie Franklin published a video of her grandmother Kathryn Ford – better known as Grandma Kitty – who shared a notebook with the Warriors superstar Stephen Curry, they knew little that their life would change.

“She couldn't really see that I recorded, which in my opinion helped a lot,” said Franklin. “I think it felt very authentic because it was. She really thought she only spoke to me.”

It turned out that Grandma Kitty with millions of language-the video seemed to be viral overnight.

“It was only constant calls and appointments, interviews. Something I have never experienced,” said Grandma Kitty.

The video became so popular that the attention of several people with the Golden State Warriors and finally her favorite player: Stephen Curry. The four-time NBA champion and Future Hall of Famer Curry then invited her to a future game that was in Brookly on March 6th.

Born in New York State was overwhelmed by emotions, said “Wow” and cheered Curry after seeing the invitation through a personalized video message. Grandma Kitty watched the video on a laptop in front of family and friends.

“Hey, what's going on, Grandma Kitty. I saw the Instagram contribution,” said Curry on the video. “Because of your support, we would like to invite you to our game in Brooklyn on March 6th. We would be happy to have you.”

It didn't take long for it to be the match day. Grandma Kitty and the granddaughter Maddie and six other family members made a VIP experience that started at WarmUps.

“I thought I would get nervous, but I was just so happy (laughs). I was just thrilled to see him personally,” said Grandma Kitty.

Curry delivered a signed personalized jersey and then achieved a vintage performance, scored 40 points and even delivered a “night, night” in a win over the nets.

“People all started cheering him! The Nets fans got up and went 'MVP'. It was so much fun.

After the game, Curry spent more time with Grandma Kitty and her family. She had the chance to show her notebook and to present Curry with a special gift: a check worth more than 6,000 US dollars for the EAT of the CURRYS. Learn. Play. Foundation.
