Woman who was killed in downtown Las Vegas in downtown Las Vegas; Suspicious shooter dead

Las Vegas (KTNV) detectives examine what a murder self-murder in a neighborhood near the city center of Las Vegas seems to be.

The police tell us that officials were called to a house near Bruce Street and the Bonanza Road on Saturday evening when they reported that a woman had been shot.

When the police arrived, they heard another shot from the house, said Lt. Robert Price from the murder department of the Metropolitan Police Department of Las Vegas.

According to Price, the officials stormed into it and found a man and a woman who suffered from obvious firing wounds.

The man was declared dead at the crime scene. Price says the woman was taken to the University Medical Center, but she did not survive.

During their investigation, the police learned that men and women had a long -term relationship, said Price. It is believed that the woman brought her children to the house to visit the man.

At some point, according to Price, the two began to argue and the man shot the woman. When the police arrived, Price said, the man then turned the gun.

“This is a very tragic, tragic event,” he said. “We encourage everyone who has problems with domestic violence to achieve the support of services [like] The family justice center. It doesn't have to end. ”

The identity of the man and woman was not released. The police said the children were safe and were not damaged.
