Victor Valley prevails in the HD All-Star Classic football game

A monstrous offensive line will certainly work miracles for most teams with talented ball runners.

That was certainly the case on Saturday afternoon in the HD All-Star Classic Football game, in which Victor Valley-Kader achieved a 34-0 win over the team, which was made up of players from the entire Antelope Valley.

The Victor Valley squad achieved five lavish touchdowns behind a high -towering line, which contained three NCAA Division 1 linemen in Jonah Laptele by Apple Valley, Abu Fofanah by Granite Hills and Oak Hills' Joseph James.

“It was too much fun today,” said Silverado Dallas Kincherlow, who achieved a few lavish touchdowns. “This offensive line is too good, too big. It was fun to get behind them, become small, get lost and pull themselves off there. ”

This offensive line made it possible for the Barstow Quarterback Dwayne Williams to achieve a few lavish touchdowns and to show why he was chosen as the most valuable player of the Desert Sky League.

Williams was also appointed MVP of the game and received a scholarship check in the amount of $ 250 on the 50-yard line after the campaign.

“It was so much fun to play with people from all schools and have fun getting to know each other. At the end of the day everything is love and only football, ”said Williams.

Defensive shop window

The Victor Valley squad did not give up much meter to the Antelope Valley, which partly patrolled the OAK Hills linacker Jacob Macias in the middle of the field. The defensive player of the year of the Mojave River League has created one of four sales for the Victor Valley squad.

Oak Hills made three of the sales, with Elijah Connor caughting a pass and Nathan Cabrejo recovered. Bubba Matthews by Victor Valley High School also intercepted a pass in the last minute to end the game.

“Today was a great time to only be able to run in the field what they want and play good football,” said Macias. “Playing in an all-star game, but Oak Hills really represented today. It was fun to play with my brothers by my side because we were some of the most important games and the duels. ”

The crime

The Victor Valley squad started things in the second quarter when Talan Lively achieved a touchdown with six meters and a 6-0 lead.

On the following trip, the Victor Valley squad quarter and 10 faced each other, and Williams connected himself to Silverado's father Foster on a 29-yard pass of a courtyard of the end zone. Kincherlow hit the ball in the next game. They went for two points and Williams scored Silverados Jarmarri Tharpe for a short pass and 14-0 seconds before half-time.

“You have been my rivals over the years, but Silverado has a few dogs, man,” said Williams. “But today we really used the DSL this year. We are all under evaluation compared to MRL players. This was our time to show that we could hang with everyone. ”

Williams showed his ability to play in the second half with a 33-yard touchdown run and a 44-yard run in the fourth quarter, which led to a running watch.

Kincherlow also broke out a 30-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

“The entire DSL is full of dogs, a few sleepers and I think they could tell today,” said Kincherlow. “We are good.”
