Government FC opened in 2025 with a draw against NJ/NY Gotham FC – Seattle Reign FC

In front of a home amount of 8,467 fans, Seattle Reign FC fought with a 1-1 draw with NJ/NY Gotham FC. In classic fashion in Seattle, the rain flocked when the reign of a 1-0 deficit worked back to save a point at home.

The reign started quickly and sent a warning sign to Gotham in the second minute of the game. After both teams fought for a gaming goal, the physicality increased, with a total of 14 fouls in the second half.

The reign continued and forced Gotham repeatedly onto the back foot. The tensions rose when the 87th minute of the game produced a red card that was exhibited by the defender Mandy Freeman after the video review laid a look back at striker Nerilia Monsir.

As a player for the rest of the game, the reign was forward and pushed for a gambling goal, but only fell briefly. At the last pipe, the goal line stayed on the level and every team took a point in his debut game of the 2025 season.
