Firefighters, Bomb squad, called fire in Crafton, who found the man inside – wpxi

Crafton, Pa. – One person was found dead when the crews in crafton fought against a house fire.

Firefighters of the Crafton Volunteer fire brigade said the fire broke out on Saturday at 10:46 a.m. in the Charters Avenue.

The back of the house burned when the crews arrived.

A man was found on the first floor and removed from the building. He was immediately declared dead, said firefighters.

The fire was spent a short time later.

The Allegheny County Bomb Squad was also called to the scene because firefighters found “suspicious devices” inside.

The fireman Allegheny County began to examine the cause of the fire as soon as the bomb group cleared the house.

The cause and the type of man's death were not released at that time.
