Soup Sunday sets record for the annual fundraiser

Forty minutes before the beginning of the 44th annual Central Arkansas soup on Sunday – on March 2 at the event location of North Little Rock in Westwind – was almost too late to get a parking space right in front of the building. The overflow parking spaces were soon occupied for use.

This is proof of the character of the long-term, delicious competition and fundraising campaign for Arkansas advocates of children and families who brought in the co-chair of Kevin Shalin this year and Gene LU-a record amount.

The doors opened for sponsors half an hour earlier. The participants brought Muffin sockets from home to how the tradition has become to try so many of the delicacies presented by Area -Restaurants as possible and vote on their favorite soups. Bread, desserts, beer, wine, refreshment drinks and blue Belleis as well as hot dogs were also made available to the children, who enjoyed activities in the children's auditorium.

There were also silent auction objects as well as a raffle option and a conversation in the coast.

The winners soups? So the restaurant bar took home the Dave Williams Golden Ladle Award for her smoked Gouda Green Chile soup. Afrobites were second because of his Harira soup and Okra soup with palm oil. It is time to eat that is to be eaten for his soul feed soup.
