Fonseca, No. 69 in the PIF ATP Live ranking, would get to a new career on Monday if he should win the title.

The champion at the ATP final 2024 presented by PIF, the teenager, opened the year from his Jeddah triumph with a title at the Canberra Challenger. Fonseca received his first tour title at the Clay Court ATP 250 in Buenos Aires last month. He wants to be the first player to win an ATP 250, Challenger 175 and Challenger 125 Trophy in the same season.

Fonseca would be the only player born in South America to win a trio of Challenger titles from the age of 18. With Elite Company, the teenager was won as the fifth player of the youngest in a single season, and several Challenger titles have been won since 2018: Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sünder, Felix Auger-Aliassimen and Holger Rune.

BUKRAG is entering the final on Sunday with an unbeaten 6-0 mark in the Challenger final. A title would only make him the fourth player in Challenger history to have a perfect record in his first seven last appearances.

Both players achieved an explanatory winner in the semi -finals on Saturday. Fonseca displaced the former Kei Nishikori No. 4 6-3, 6: 3, while Budik Nuno Borges' search for a three-goal in the Phoenix Country Club spoiled and scored a 6-3, 6: 4 victory.
