The latest in a series of iPhone 17 -leaves has adopted the form of metal shapes for the upcoming models.

Before the publication of a new iPhone generation, there are generally many rumors about all changed elements. This applies in particular to claims in relation to the cameras.

The veteran Leaker Sonny Dickson has followed early CAD designs that show a previously irritated “Camera-Bar” style for most iPhone 17 models. On March 15, he published photos of metal shapes that follow the same lines as its earlier leak.

Forms are usually created to give the case of third-party providers an idea of the configuration and size of the upcoming iPhone models. The shapes are often more based on rumors than on information from Apple and therefore sometimes prove to be imprecise.

Various pictures and even videos that have been spread online assume that the regular iPhone 17 model will probably have a conventional dual camera arrangement with the flash on the left. The other three models will debut a new camera bar design, which has recently been rumored.

The thinner model, which is probably referred to either as iPhone 17E or iPhone 17 Air, will have a single “2-in-1” camera that is currently being used by the iPhone 16E. The iPhone 17 Pro- and Pro -Max models has shown that they have the usual three camera lenses on the back, the lightning and the sensors are separated on the right side.

In the picture of the shapes, the camera base for the iPhone 17E or the air is significantly more pronounced than with the other models. This would be due to a rumored redesign that comes to the model to make the body of the iPhone much thinner.

It was not verified that the shapes are real, but Dickson has a good track record in the unveiling of future iPhone models. In April 2024 he showed models of the iPhone 16 series, which unveiled the screen sizes of the four models months before their debut.
