Eagles fight, lose against rankings tigers

Stockton, California – – – Eastern completed the three-game road trip in Stockton, where the EWU would lose 61 against No. 61. The Eagles drop a total of 4-13, with the Pacific No. 61 a total of 7-6

The EWU and Pacific met in their third meeting of all time, with the tigers in the series 2-1 in advance. The two separated the previous two games and last played in 1991 when Pacific defeated the Eagles 8-1.

In doubles, the Eagles would have the same line -up as they had the two previous games in California.

Tyler Dalos/Tyler Waddock looked facing a ranked double team in number 1 for the Eagles. The two jumped against a 3-0 lead against No. 86 Ran Amar/Christof Coffey Schaertlin. However, Pacific's doubles would show their ranking and win six directly to win the match 6: 3

Brady Thomas/Caden Kammerer In position no. 3, it would not be able to gain your foot because an early deficit would be too much in a 6-2 defeat.

No. 2 doubles Arshjot Bhatti/Drew Dillon saw an early 3-0 deficit and saw their game 5: 2 in favor of the tigers early.

Tyler Waddock would represent the eagle in position no. 1. Justa's Trainauskas bound with 3: 3 in the first sentence and won the set 6: 4. Waddock in the second set would be in a back and forth and see a tie-breaker even 6: 6. When he saw the whole second set, Waddock would replace points, but would be 7-6 (7-5) in the Tiebreaker.

Drew Dillon In singles No. 3, the position would fall in the first set 6-1. The second set had a very competitive second 3-3. Jonty Giensen from the Tigers won three in a row and took the second set 6: 3.

Caden Kammerer In No. 4, his match would take a distance. After a dominant first set 6-1 victory, Vraj Patel checked the pace of the second set and won 6: 3. The third sentence recorded four ties, but Kammerer would win the last two games to win 6: 4. With the victory, Kammerer moved to 7: 7 in the season and scored his twelve career singles dual match win.

In position no. 5, Arshjot Bhatti I would defend myself from a 4-0 deficit, but I would not complete the comeback and fall 6: 4 in the first set. Christof Coffey Schaertlin would be able to use the first set victory and win the match with a 6-2 victory.

Brady Thomas Would round off singles in position no. 6. After Thomas won a strong first set with 6: 4, he lost the second 6: 2 and saw a 10-point tiebreaker. After a 3: 3 draw, Niv Zuckerman won a big seventh point and won 10: 4 to win the two-color game.
