The most famous words in motorsports wore some additional weight on Sunday when the legendary actor and narrator Morgan Freeman gave command to start engines for the Pennzoil 400 of the NASCAR Cup series on the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Freeman, loyal to his style, provided the words “Driver, start your engines” in such a way that he only brought the 36-box field to life before the fifth race of the 2025 NASCAR season.

Although Freeman played the leading role in the classic film “Driving Miss Daisy”, he described himself to support them in the pre-race show of Fox Sports as a “type of speed demon” with some. Freeman was not only served as an honorary -pace car driver for the Indianapolis 500 from 2004, but also announced that he also got behind the wheel of a Nascar car on the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

According to Freeman's command, Polesitter Michael McDowell led the field to the Green Flag to start a race with the story at the game, since Christopher Bell becomes the ninth driver in the modern era of Nascar to win four races in a row, and only the second who has ever won four of the first five.
