Maresca indicates details about the scan of Cole Palmer and the potential return date

The most exciting thing in Chelsea News today was that Cole Palmer was a surprising omission from Chelsea's squad.

Before the start manager Enzo Maresca gave an indication of what was wrong (on a little bizarre), after full -time he gave more details about the problem and a prospective return date for the match of the daily investment:

“The feeling is that he can be back after the international break. secure [he won’t play for England] Because he is injured and didn't play today, ”said the manager.

“He needs a scan. It is planned for tomorrow. I hope (he can be back after the international break). But we have to wait for the scan. “

In his press conference -afterwards he said similar things and went on to admit that it was not a bad time for Palmer to record a little problem:

“I don't believe [be available for England]. It was a muscle problem from yesterday. We don't want a player to be injured, but in Coles moment it could be good to give him a break. He needs a scan. The scan is planned for Monday, tomorrow. I hope so [he will be back after the international break] But we have to see. It is a muscle problem. “

Using Palmer of injuries is only the beginning. We then need Palmer back to the shape, and even that will not be enough in itself. We have been a total attack since Christmas and only win games when we really play bad opposition or pages with a fraction of our budget. These problems started while Palmer was fit and was not immediately resolved by his return.
