Second person who was arrested in connection with the shootout near the British campus

Lexington, Ky. (Wkyt) – A second person was arrested in connection with a shootout near the British campus in November.

The Lexington police stated that on November 3 at 1 a.m. in the 500 block of the South Upper Street near Winslow Street. The shootout took place in a restaurant from Cree's Cane from Campus.

The British police say that nobody was injured in the shootings, but several vehicles were hit by shots.

In December, the Lexington police announced that the 21-year-old Deastay Jones had been arrested in connection with the shootout.

Jones is charged with five cases of criminal nonsense on the 1st degree and a number of deliberate hazards 1. degree (unloading of the firearm).

Now court files show that a second man, Devonte Terry, was arrested on Thursday.

According to Terry's arrest quotation, the investigation identified him as a suspect who also fired shootings during the shootout. It continues, he has damaged six ownerships and suspended at least one person who is suspended serious injuries or deaths.

Terry is charged with a number of willful risk (firearm) and six cases of criminal mischief.
