The silent day limited by Koreas Showbox

Korea's show box added “Taboo: The Silent Day”, a horror mysterium that is staged by the first Helmer Park Kyung-Kun, to his sales slate at Hong Kong Filmart.

In Indonesia with a Korean crew and a line -up, the film turns to a group of friends whose vacation in Bali takes a terrible turn when they accidentally break a mysterious urn and release vengeful spirits from Nyepi during the day – Balis Holy Day of silence when all forms of food, pleasure and lights have to spread.

The film plays Kwon Da-Ham (“A Killer Paradox”, “DP”), Choi Tae-Eun (“Growing Friends”, “Checkmate”) and Lee Jeong-Hoon (“High School Love Story”). In post -production, “Taboo: The Silent Day” is currently aimed at publication in the third quarter this year.

The diverse film type from Showbox extends over several genres. Drama “Big Deal” (working title) of director Choi Yun-Jin follows a young investment company Associate (Lee Je-Hoon), who returns to Korea during the Asian financial crisis from 1997 to rehabilitate the top soy company in the country, which is about bankruptcy. The film is co-stars Yoo Hai-Jin and is set for publication in the second quarter of 2025.

“As soon as we were,” plays a romantic drama under the direction of Kim Do-Young (“Kim Ji Ji, born 1982”) Koo Kyo-Hwan and Mun Ka-Young as a former lover who unexpectedly reunite after their separation on a flight. The film is planned for publication in the third quarter of 2025.

“The verdict”, one by Lee Chang-Hee (“A Killer Paradox”, “The Pistished”) and Yusron Fuadi (“Tengkorak”, “Setan Alas!”). The thriller will be discontinued for publication in the third quarter of this year.

“White Blast”, a mystery thriller directed by Hong Eui-Jeong (“Voice of Silence”) and Park Sun-Woo, Stars Kim Yun-Seok and Koo Kyo-Hwan. The film plays on a remote snow -covered train station and follows a train station champion on his last working day when he encounters a mysterious young man as reports circulated as reports on escalated convicts. The film is scheduled to be released at the end of the year.
