The water polo deserves 2-1 start to the Maac game

Lexington City, Va. – The Water Polo team from La Salle started the conference game with a 2-1 weekend in VMI. The discoverers won two victories on Saturday, but dropped their lonely game against Marist on Sunday.

How it happened-iona (W, 12-4)

  • Sofia Kolovou Dominated the first quarter and achieved all three explorer goals to increase the team 3-1.
  • Francesca Co ' and Kolvou added one goal in the second Tatum Lomax Add two more. La Salle went 7-2 in half.
  • Sara Quirante Talli And Grace Smith Join the fight to expand the Blue & Gold lead in the third quarter with 9: 3.
  • Ella Tice And Quirante Talli added the total in the last framework to give La Salle an outstanding 12: 4 victory at the opening of the conference.
