The Kansas Jayhawks enter the NCAA tournament in Uncharted Territory -as No. 7 Sowing in the West region.

In the first round against Arkansa's Razorbacks No. 10, Kansas will be against the Arkansas Razorbacks. Since the 1999-2000 season, the program has not been sown outside of the top 4 in the March Madness.

A regular season that started with Kansas as No. 1 in the AP survey ended with it that it was unrested. The Jayhawks fought after the 7-0 start and start the tournament with a record of 21-12.

Since the beginning of the century, Kansas has been consistently set in March Madness – until this season never worse than four, which led to two national championships in 25 years.

The song won two Grammys in the 43rd annual awards: “Best R&B performance of a duo or a group with vocal” and “Best R&B Song”.

Other risers on the table this week included “Bye bye bye” from *nsync to No. 5, “show me the meaning of being lonely” from the backstreet boys to No. 6 and “So it is so” by Celine Dion.


Shaq and Kobe win steam as a duo

While the Yankees had just completed their three-goal run, the Los Angeles Lakers approached theirs. Led by Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant, the Lakers had a record of 54-12 in mid-March.

Los Angeles defeated the Detroit Pistons on the day of the game of Kansas. O'Neal put 35 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks together, while Bryant had 25 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists.

Paul Pierce, a player from Kansas in the second year, also fit for the Boston Celtics. He had 16 points and five steals in a win against the Chicago Bulls.


Limited upset on the first day of March

The Jayhawks were not the only cheap seed that took care of the business on the opening day of the NCAA tournament.

Only two schools from the 16 games on this day moved out the faults – No. 10 Seton Hall Pirates on No. 7 -Samen Oregon Ducks and Pepperdine Waves No. 11 via No. 6 in Indiana Hoosiers.

The Florida Gators with No. 6-Sams almost escaped an angry fear of Butler Bulldogs No. 12. The future teammates from Miami Heat, Mike Miller and Udonis Haslem had 16 and 10 points for Florida.
