Tulane will be second and third place at weekend regattas

New Orleans – Tulane University Sailing opened at the weekend with two top three placements in separate regattas in the northeast. The Green Wave ended up in second place under 18 teams in St. Mary's Women's Fleet Race and in a field of 10 teams at the Southern New England Race.

In St. Mary's City, Maryland, the wave ended the St. Mary's Women's Fleet Race with an overall rating of 101 to take second place. The trio of AVA AndersonPresent Ella May CorckranAnd Cate Anderson Tulane Tempo on the water in the B division. This trio finished second in the division with 43 points up to 12 races. The green wave also landed in the A division as second Sammie GardnerGabriela Vassel, Hope BreslinPresent Caitlin BriggsAnd Martha Hughes Combined with 58 points in 12 races.

In New London, Connecticut, Tulane was in New London, Connecticut, with a 9: 5 record in the regatta. Skipper Hamilton BarclayPresent Christian EbbinAnd Kelly Holthus Combined with crews CJ ricciPresent Matho CapassoPresent Sabrina AndersonPresent Ryan ehnotPresent Taylor BartellAnd Brady Starck Collect the nine victories on the Thalle for the wave. The green wave ultimately secured the victories against Bowdoin College, Roger Williams, the coast guard, Brown, Tufts, with and the Connecticut College and two victories over Rhode Island.

Next, Tulane will go back to the street on Saturday and Sunday, March 22nd to 23rd. The Green Wave will compete at the Szambecki team race of Old Dominion in Norfolk, Virginia, and the races organized by Harvard in Cambridge, Massachusetts Duplin Women's team.
