Baltimore County Officer recovers after a targeted shootout outside the district

A policeman in Baltimore County is on the street for recovery after being shot in front of a police station last Thursday.

The officer, whose identity is not known due to privacy, was released from the hospital on Sunday, four days after the incident, welcomed by a number of colleagues and a procession of police vehicles that were ready to accompany him home.

“This is a blessed day. And I am so happy that the official did so well,” said Kathy Klausmeier, Executive by Baltimore County.

The shootout occurred as a lonely shooter who does not remain identified, the officer opened a fire in front of the Wilkens station.

According to police, a witness reported that a “subject in green” “left a vehicle and approaching the district.

According to reports, the suspect reported time in the lobby of the station before lying around outside, where he exchanged words with the officer and then fired a weapon.

Two other officers returned fire and met the shooters several times.

The suspect's vehicle was found nearby near the Campus of the University of Maryland, the Baltimore County.

The suspect is currently being hospitalized in a local hospital after being shot into the hip.

Chief Robert McCullough described the attack as “deliberate”, although details about the motifs of the shooter remain unclear.

In the further course of the investigation, the police thanked for the recovery of the official.

“We are grateful to shock a trauma again,” said Chief McCullough. “He went home in four days after he had been the victim of a gunshot wound.”

The authorities have not yet published any further details about the case or identity of the suspect.
