Save the date: US girl -Junior championship entries open on Wednesday

The 76th US girl -Junior Championship qualification is back from May 21 to June 26. Local qualifications take place via 42 locations as well as Canada and Mexico.

The championship will take place from July 14th to 19th in the Atlanta Athletic Club (Riverside Course) in Johns Creek, Georgia.

Last year, 17-year-old Rianne Malixi from the Philippines made 14 birdies over 29 holes to defeat the 15-year-old Asterisk Talley from Chowchilla, California, in the 36-hole final in the El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana, California.

Malixi avoided her championship loss from one year earlier to Kiara Romero. Malixi would defeat Tallixi a few weeks later in the amateur final of the US women in the US women
