Baloch rebels publish an attack video on the Pak military convoy, in which 5 were killed

The Belutsch rebels behind the train covering in Pakistan have released a video of their recent attack on a paramilitary convoy, in which five people were killed on Sunday, including three Pakistani soldiers.

The attack took place on a highway in Belutschistan's Noshki, and the video published by the Belutschistan Liberation Army (Bla) shows an explosion and clouds of smoke from a bus.

A police officer said evidence from the place of the attack indicated that a suicide attacker had rammed an explosive vehicle into the convoy.

“After the explosion, some other terrorists opened the FC employee the fire, but two of them killed in the retaliation. Two civilians and three soldiers died,” the PTI news agency quoted the police officers.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the “cowardly” attack and said that “our determination against terrorism cannot shake”.

On Tuesday, the BLA led a passenger train and held hostages for 36 hours.

They took over the Jaffar Express in a remote mountain pass in the province of Belutschistan by chasing railway lines into the air. This attack killed 31 soldiers and civilians.

The BLA, the strongest rebel group, which is active in Belutschistan and borders Iran and Afghanistan, often carries out attacks on the security personnel in the oil and mineral-rich province and fights for their independence.

In a recent explanation, the group said: “The valuable natural resources in Belutschistan belong to the Belutsch nation. Pakistani military generals and their Punjabi elite are looting these resources for their own luxury.”

The BLA has around 5,000 members, with more and more women, including law students and graduates of medicine, are participating in their activities.
