The Tikok trend promotes risky airport behavior for travelers

Virginia Beach, Va.-a new Tikok trend called “Airport Theory”, influenced nerve-seeking travelers to skip the recommended two-hour arrival time at airports.

Instead, a few 15 to 20 minutes before their flights, especially during the busy spring holiday season at Norfolk International Airport.

Chris Jones, spokesman for Norfolk International Airport, warns that this approach could lead to missed flights.

Jones explained that most airports, including Norfolk, close their goals 15 minutes before departure. This means that travelers, even if they bring security through security, may find the door to their flight.
Parking is another problem, especially during peak times.

In the past spring break, the airport almost had the full parking capacity and reached 90 percent. “If you plan to arrive near your flight time, parking can become a problem,” warned Jones.

Local Tikok users, including travelers Jayden, McKenna and Paige, expressed their disagreement with the trend.

“They risk a lot,” said McKenna and noticed that the fear of possibly missing a flight outweighed the thrill of cutting.

When asked whether the full two hours are required, Jones recommended that they arrive at least 60 minutes before departure, even if they do not check a bag.

“In critical times of the day, especially in the morning, it is important to give yourself additional time,” he advised.

When the spring vacation approaches, travelers are asked to prioritize their plans before social media trends for more smooth experience at the airport.
