The state police examined the officials

The Pennsylvania state police examined an official who will be shot in Northampton County on Saturday.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, PSP was called to the North Broadway area and Tribe Lane in Wind Gap Borough.

According to the state police, the police from Forks Township, together with other police stations, pursued a 2016 KIA 2016 that was driven by a 65-year-old man from Easton.

During the persecution, the vehicle in the area of ​​North Broadway and Tribe Lane was hindered.

The state police said that an armed confrontation then began where the man shot himself, and a police officer from Forks Township shot his firearm.

After shooting the man, the officials ensured a life -saving medical care and the man was taken to the hospital, but he was declared dead.

No officials were injured during the incident.
