Operation HAWK Taskforce from Victoria Police examines criminal activities on large construction sites

Bank and financial documents show that payments are continued, even after state and federal governments promised last year to train bad behavior in the state of the country by forcing the construction department of the CFMEU into administration and committed to comprehensive reforms and inquiries.

Allan said she had been informed about several investigations that were started after the building examinations for bad media published in July last year.

The Prime Minister said that she was “ill to my core” to look at footage that showed an alleged attack by a woman on a construction site and experiences of other women who heard in detail, harassed and banned in black by projects.

“I just want to say clearly to women who were affected that this is wrong. This is not correct and my thoughts are with those women who have had these terrible, devastating experiences, ”she said.

The government promised to immediately implement two recommendations from the former public servant Greg Wilson's state review into the troubled construction sector.

This included a complaint procedure for whistleblower and the strengthening of the work between federal and state authorities.

However, Jaryn Symes, Minister of State Industrial Education, said that laws that create the person known as personnel inspection would not come in front of the parliament this week.

“It has been developed since the report on the report, and it requires legislation to set up the inspection of the workforce, and that is imminent.”

The inspection will have a special focus on the safety of women, said Symes.

Allan defended the Wilson examination despite the criticism of Geoffrey Watson, SC -the lawyer appointed by the CFMEU administrator to investigate misconduct -that the Wilson examination was so poorly determined that it was a “cover -up” because “it went on the ground on foot”. Watson also emphasized that he did not accuse Wilson of adopting misconduct, but his concern was the failure of the Allan government to adequately ensure his investigation in order to adequately investigate misconduct.

“I do not agree. We quickly moved last year with an approach of zero tolerance for this bullying and accusations of illegal behaviors,” said Allan.

“Therefore, under a number of measures, we referred these allegations to IBAC, to the police from Victoria, to the independent agencies that have to examine the authority and the authority … Everyone with information that goes into illegal behavior in this state has the responsibility to transfer this information to these agencies.”

The Victorian opposition has renewed the demand for a royal commission to the state branch of the CFMEU and will bring a non -binding application through the upper house on Tuesday.

When asked what could be done to take measures now, the opposition leader Brad Battin said that the government should delete alleged bicycles from its large building sites.

“This is not just incompetence – it is complicity. Labor has created a system that protects its buddies and at the same time prompted corruption and criminal infiltration in Victoria's largest infrastructure projects, ”said Battin.

Evan Mulholland, spokesman for the opposition, said that the government of Allan by Greg Wilson was a “wet salad approach” and Allan had started his recommendations for months.

“It was a miserable approach and we now know that it was a cover -up,” said Mulholland.

Allan said that a federal royal commission had “very little” delivered.
