First photo of Pope Francis since admitted to the hospital, Concelbrate Holy Messe in Chapel

The Vatican has published the first photo of Pope Francis on the Gemelli Hospital in Rome on February 14.

“This morning, Pope Francis will check the Holy Mass in the chapel of the apartment on the tenth floor in the Gemelli Polyclinic,” says a explanation of the Vatican press office.

In the photo, the Holy Father can see sitting in front of the altar of the chapel, where he was accepted in the Eucharist in the first picture of the Pope since his admission to the hospital, first bronchitis and then pneumonia.

The Vatican also reported that “the state of the Pope remains stable” and after the concelebrating Sunday mass “continues with the prescribed therapies”, including respiratory tract and physiotherapy.

Pope Francis received no visitors on Sunday and dedicated the day “prayer, calm and some work”.
