Amit Shah Chairman review of the review of the meetings for the implementation of new criminal laws in NE

Guwahate, March 17th: The Union Minister of the Interior, Amit Shah, said on Sunday that after the new criminal law is completely enforced, there will be a significant change in the situation of the law and the order of the region, and warned that there should be no political interference in the registration of cases in connection with terrorism, mob lynch and organized crime.

Shah led a review in Guwahate about the status of implementing three new criminal laws in the northeastern countries.

The meeting checked the implementation and current status of various new provisions in connection with the police, prisons, courts, law enforcement and forensics in the northeastern countries. Shah instructed the state governments to monitor progress and instructed the police to concentrate more on securing the rights of citizens.

The Union's interior minister said that the central government was obliged to provide the citizens a quick and transparent judicial system, and emphasized that it is essential to strengthen laws and order to register crimes without delay.

He said that the north -eastern states have to make more efforts to implement the new criminal laws. He explained that these laws will ensure that justice will be registered by the Supreme Court within three years after a FIR. He said that all northeastern countries should ensure 100 percent of the police personnel in the new criminal laws.

Shah asked the chief ministers of the northeastern states to prevent a review of the laws every month. He also instructed the DGPS and main secretaries of the states to carry out a review meeting every 15 days.

The Union's interior minister said the government had to achieve the base, and police stations should be located where people receive justice. He emphasized that this would only be possible with 100 percent of the implementation of three new laws.

He also emphasized the urgent need for the implementation of e-Sakshya. He explained until there is enough scientific civil servants, it is not possible to submit completely satisfactory fee sheets from the perspective of forensic science. He continued to urge the use of the “court proceedings in absence”, which will help bring fleeting criminals back into the country.

Shah said that the stronger the public prosecutor's public prosecutor, the easier it will be to ensure justice for the people. He noticed that the police in the northeast focused mainly on the fight against the uprising.

However, since the uprising in the region was almost eradicated, the police should shift their focus on the protection of life, property and dignity of humans. Shah also explained that the government of Narendra Modi introduced three new laws after an extensive and detailed consideration process, which included almost 45 months. Detailed reports on willingness, success and challenges in the implementation of the reforms were presented by individual states. The modernization of the police and the capacity structure as well as the reactions of cybercrime and awareness were also taken up with closed doors during the meeting.

The main minister of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura and Sikkim; Manipur's governor; The Interior Minister of the Union; The main secretaries; And the DGPS of the northeastern states and other high -ranking officials of the Union Ministry of the Interior and the state governments were also present at the meeting.

The Interior Minister also revealed a book entitled New Criminal Laws: Standard Operating Procedures and Rules of CID, Assam. Later, Shah traveled to Neu-Delhi after his three-day visit to the region after his three-day visit.
