Watch: Real Madrid striker ridiculously in Valencia at the Las Fallas Festival mocked

One of the most discussed pictures from the opening days of Las Fallas 2025 has conquered social media in the storm.

The figure of Vinicius Jr., which was shown at the Ninot exhibition and called “Cagalló d'Or”, quickly became a viral sensation as soon as it was revealed to the public.

This artistic creation, which was made by the sculptor Victor Navarro, is a satirical representation of the events related to the last balloon d'or ceremony.

Vinicius was considered the prestigious award as a strong candidate, but the title Rodri was claimed at the last moment.

The ninot serves as a playful allusion to this result and embodies the classic satirical humor that defines the Fallas Festival. However, not all Real -Madrid supporters appreciated the joke, with some reacted negatively to the display.

It's not for everyone

The controversy around the ninot escalated when his creator reported that he received death threats about his work. Despite this counter reaction, the jury of the Centralaera Board recognized the artistic merit of the figure.

Two prestigious titles were awarded: “Best section Ninot” both in the artistic category and in the category for ingenuity and wit.

The public reaction to the ninot was significant, and many included the humorous aspect of the display.

It was further recognized by securing a place in the top 10 of the referendum. With a total of 1,875 votes, it took sixth place to the most famous Ninots of this year's festival.

One of the most widespread moments on social media came when festival visitors gathered around the figure and sang mocked sentences such as “Beach Ball”.

The scene quickly became viral, whereby videos of the event were widespread online.

Vinicius' Ninot remains exhibited in the Pintor Goya-Brazil Falla, where a large number of visitors are expected to stop by and see it personally.

In view of the attention that it has already received, it will probably remain one of the most discussed figures for this year's Falla celebrations.
