The Birmingham police are miserable in connection with assault

Birmingham, ala. (Wiat) – A suspect was arrested in connection with a shootout, which took place on Saturday, according to the Birmingham police department.

At around 12:33 p.m., an adult man was shot while crossing the road in the 200th Street North Block. BPD officers arrived on site and found the victim who suffered from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue Services arrived on site and brought the victim to the UAB Hospital for treatment.

The real -time criminal center of the BPD quickly found the suspect's vehicle in the 800 block of the 44th Street North. Officers of the southern district took the suspects in custody without incidents.

The suspect was identified as Kelein Blevins, 38, from Birmingham. Blevins was placed on a 48-hour extension of the Birmingham City in the Birmingham City prison.

Detective with the BPD presented the case information from the district prosecutor's office of Jefferson County and received arrest warrants for the first degree attacks to have certain people who had banned the pistol and illegal possession of marijuana.

Blevins is taken to Jefferson County's prison.
