CHAMPAIGS CHAMPAIG COUNTY COUNTY CRISCHE SOCKERS asks the help of the public to solve a shootout that took place more than two years ago.

On October 4, 2022 at 5:47 p.m., the officials were sent to the 1100 block of the North Third Street to receive a report on a shootout with injuries.

At the scene, the police were 25-year-old Rashaud Weatherall with life-threatening gunshot wounds and provided help until he could be transported to a hospital where he was later declared dead.

Two other gunfire were taken to the hospital, treated and released by personal means of transport.

The police learned that the men took part in a birthday party in the area when one or more unknown topics opened fire on the group.
