Nyck Harbor is a full participant in the South Carolina football practice

South Carolina Wide Receiver Nyck Harbor GameCockcentral is expected this year a full participant in the spring football practice for the Gamecocks.

Writing seemed to be on the wall when Harbor skipped the Indoor stretching season in order to concentrate on the winter training of football.

But Gamecockcentral has now confirmed that Harbor will also skip the outdoor season that begins this week. It will be his first true spring practice at South Carolina after seeing just last year while running through the route season and preparing for a possible Olympic run.

The Gamecocks start the spring ball on Wednesday morning.

The chance to go through winter training, and now spring practice with the football team could be huge for the 6-foot 5, 235 pound speedster.

The former five-star athlete secured 26 catches for 376 yards and three touchdowns in the second year in the 2024 season.

Above all, he seemed to make great progress as a recipient in the second half of the season.

The head coach of Gamecocks, Shane Beamer, spoke about the potential upward trend of harbor in January to spend more time for the football team than he broke for the first time that the port would skip the interior season, but his comments still apply, perhaps more for the fact that the port skipped the outdoor and goes through the spring ball.

“He is currently focusing on football and that was the decision of Nyck,” said projector in January. “It was something he talked to us about. In the past few weeks we have had some conversations in the bowl after the bowl, as far as he wanted to do.

“I think he found that he did a lot of good things in the track last year, but the spring exercises were missing – I don't want to say that he had to put him back on, but it was more of a challenge to be ready for the season. I think he really just wanted to concentrate on football, not that this track is over, but at the moment his focus is just football. “

South Carolina's first spring practice is used for Wednesday at 9:43 a.m.
