Tobias Myers from Brewers leaves spring training with weird injuries

Phoenix – In the second inning of his start on Saturday afternoon, Tobias Myers felt an inclined operation and decided to say something.

Now he and the Milwaukee Brewers only hope that everything that the right -handed man felt on the hill is as low as he thinks it is.

“After what I've heard so far, it seems mild,” said Myers. “It doesn't feel too crazy.”

On a slider from JD Davis with an out in the inning, Myers was the feeling that he was described as a “little train” on his left side. When he thought it could be a camera, he threw a few more parking spaces before he was sheltered against Jo Adell during a bat.

“I just wanted to see if I could throw it through because I never felt anything on the hill, as far as I am not healthy,” said Myers. “So I thought it might be a little cramp or something. I still executed pitches and still felt pretty good. In the finish I couldn't get where I wanted to get. It was the right decision to check it and make sure that we were okay.”

The mere mention of a weird injury was enough to increase alarm bells for manager Pat Murphy.

“Whenever you talk about a weird or whatever it is, it is worrying,” said Murphy. “That would be our seventh mug in spring training to get injured and not to be in full strength. It is about it. But we have to carry out further tests to find out what it is.”

These other tests will come on Sunday. The brewers led some initial fuel tests that myers returned to the team's complex after leaving Saturday, and the numbers seemed to be “okay” according to Pitcher.

While imaging will further illuminate the injury, Murphy indicated that Myers will probably miss the time due to the kind of weird injuries. It is simply not clear whether this leads to a stay of the injured list.

Myers is the second projected member of the starting trotation to leave a excursion with a weird injury. Aaron Ashby traveled from his beginning on March 3 with weird tightness, which has not yet subsided enough so that he can resume throwing again.

In addition, the DL Hall was placed on the 60-day injury list with a left-wing LAT load and was only back at the end of May.

In 2024, the 26-year-old Myers had a 3.00-e-A-in 25 starts and 27 outings as breakout rookie. He was on the opening day on the opening day after Freddy Peralta and Nestor Cortes according to Milwaukees No. 3 or 4 starters.

If Myers should miss the time, this would exhaust the already thin depth of the brewers. Tyler Alexander, Connor Thomas and Elvin Rodríguez would be among the first ways to replace him in the rotation. The brewers are still not sure whether José Quintana will be ready for the beginning of the season after not signing until March.

Unclear whether Nick Mears on IL begins the season

Brewers Reliever Nick Mears has recently missed four days with an illness that lost him almost £ 10. He worked on winning this weight, already five pounds from where he was at the end of the disease, but his entire strength is still in the works.

This sets its status for the opening day in question. Mears still has to regain its strength and speed and take a back-to-back trip into the regular season. He could open the season in the IL if it was not completely recovered by March 27.

“Now it is as if Kid loses as much weight, so much strength that could be a possible injury situation,” said Murphy. “So more and more options are being opened.”
