The official, who shot in front of a Baltimore County police station last week, was released from the hospital on Sunday.

Outside, there were a lot of officials and a number of police cars and motorcycles from Baltimore County when he was released from the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center from Baltimore at the University of Maryland around 1 p.m.

First aiders stood in front of the shoulder when he left the hospital in a wheelchair. The vehicle in which he was left with his family was accompanied by five police cars and motorcycles with sirens.

“This is a blessed day,” said Kathy Klausmeier, Executive by Baltimore County, who thanked the first aiders and the shock trauma professionals who treated the wounded officer.

The shootout occurred on Thursday at 2:30 p.m., at the time of changing the officers in the Wilkens district in Catonsville. The police said that the suspect had entered the district for the first time and spoke to desk officials, then went and had a police officer who was in the parking lot at the Zabpumpenstation.

The suspect then swung a firearm and shot the officials, the police said.

Two other police officers returned to the suspect in the parking lot and injured him in the lower body, said McCullough. One of these officers was shot in the exchange of shots. The suspect was also shot and taken to a hospital where he was originally listed in a critical condition, the police said. He stayed in the hospital in police custody, the police said on Sunday.

The officer, who was shot, was transported within four minutes after the shootout, said McCullough. The officer had worn a protective vest. He was underwent an operation on Thursday evening and was still in a “guarded” condition on Friday, the police said.

At a press conference on Thursday, McCullough said that it was “very clear” that the shootout was “deliberately”.

He said security should be expanded in police facilities to prevent future incidents. “Ironically,” said the boss, the planned new Wilkens district building will have larger security measures.
